So I came up with a cool idea. What if in a world of infinite possibilities the following events unfolded.
Navy Lieutenant Junior Grade John F. Kennedy dies on Aug. 2, 1943 when the destroyer Amagiri crashed into the Patrol torpedo boat PT-109 killing all of the 13 crew members. John's older brother Lieutenant Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. died on Aug. 12, 1944 in a naval airplane explosion. John's younger brother Robert F. Kennedy went into a deep depression and soon committed suicide sometime between Sept. and Dec. 1944.
Senator John F. Kennedy from Massachusetts dies while undergoing dangerous back surgery on Oct. 21, 1954.
Senator Lyndon B. Johnson from Texas dies of a massive heart attack on Jul. 2, 1955.
Vice President Richard M. Nixon is killed in a riot by Venezuelan protesters on May 13, 1958.
Premier of the Soviet Union Nikita Khrushchev is assassinated by loner Lee Harvey Oswald while touring Disneyland on Sept. 19, 1959.
Former General Douglas MacArthur dies of a swollen prostrate (worsened by his deteriorating health) on Jan. 27, 1960, one day after his 80th birthday.
Senator Edward M. Kennedy from Massachusetts dies in a plane crash on Jun. 19, 1964 along with fellow Senator Birch E. Bayh Jr. from Indiana, Marvella B. Hern Bayh (Birch's wife), Edward Moss (Kennedy's legislative aide), and pilot Edwin Zimney.
