I’ve changed some of the borders and colors of these countries and feel pretty satisfied with it. I also made another map based on it. A “prequel” map, if you will. It’s based on the aftermath of the German-American War, which eventually became this timeline’s World War I.
Taking place in 1910, it shows Germany being divided into independent states (something that would be made by France), a smaller Austria-Hungary and America taking Germany’s former Southwest African colony.
Like the modern day map, I made two versions on it. But instead of a smaller Russia and a Union of Sovereign States/Republics in each modern day map, there a united and non-united Central America in each prequel map.
Side note: I might change the Modern Day African nations and split them into smaller nations as a result.
Also, you may have noticed that I’ve used a different map layout for the prequel maps. The reason for this is because of the hell I went through in making the modern day map and wanted to use something simpler for it. I am not willing to do that again!
