Before WW1(1907) Slovenia was a puppet state of the Austro-Hungaryan Empire,in 1915 WW1 Slovenia got invaded by Italy the italians thught it be an easy victory but thainks to the clever planning of General Rudolf Maister Slovenia manage to fhight back well. Maister's Plan was Basically to make them look strong on the Alpine Moutains and stronger on flat land. The Italians fight alone when they saw they wer pushed Back they in 1917 star to ask the Allies for support.The Allies wer now fhiting a bit more tuffer Western-Front(The Eastern was mostly the same) whit Some Austro-Hungaryan troops the Others wer in the Alps. In the flat lands of Italy Whit Enught Man,good wepons and they know the Italians will send ther best man to Somewher in Venice a Slovenian blitzkrieg was put into action and that was the last Change for Italy and it Failld shortly after they surrender. The Allies wer impressed and they said:"would you join us?" Slo:"can i keppe this Italian land and some Ausro-Hungarian land's as well?" The Allies:"Ok. Why Not" Slo:"ok i'll join" in 1919 the war ended(it was 2months longer)Slovenia whith more land Nova-Karantanija Was now born. And ther is a Alternative Paris Peac Conference with Nova-Karantanija in it sparked a domino effec.t Whitc is a another story by it self.
