In 2020 the Brazilian Socialist Union and the Agrentinian Nationalist Republic attempted to invade the isolatstionist N.A.R. This didn't end well for them, since the President at the time who was a New Republican was not a pushover. The joint Brazilian-Argentinian forces were pushed back out of former Gran Colombia. Their cities bombed and both of their naval fleets were destoryed and a lot of their soliders were killed. N.A.R forces were heavly aided by Gran Colombian rebels. The Treaty of Rio de Janiero was signed ending the war. The Brazilians and Agrentinains were weaken and humilated. Gran Colombia was reestablished. Arabain Caliphate kinda fell apart in 1995 when their last king died without an male heir. Multiple houses seceded and some failed to do so. The Israelis took this chance and gained independence. The Kurds also took the chance and annexed parts of northern Iraq, Syria, and a part of a weakened Persia. Economic and political issues spread across the two Chinas, this caused the National Socialist Party of China took control of the Republic of China and unified with Qing to created Greater China. They invaded Tibet and puppeted Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. They attempted to invade Korea, but the N.A.R intervined and the Chinese backed down after many of ships in the South China Sea were sunk and their fake islands occupied. Brazil and Argentina were taken over radical parties of both spectrums, with the N.A.R isolated; they both started annexing territories and coming into conflict often. The only times they worked together was the Invasion of Gran Colombia and the War of the Americas. Sudan had a revolution and broke away from Egypt, they have gone in conflict with Egypt and Ethiopia. The germans and other monarchies in Europe were either kicked out or turned into constitutional monarchies. Russia is a constitutional monarchy, Turkestan is a democracy, Afghanistan is also a constitutional monarchy, Persia is slowly becoming a radical theocracy. The 4th French Republic was established in the 1990s and they after a couple years of tense relations with it's neighbors the French Republic joined the European Union, a lose economic alliance with the U.K, 3rd Spanish Republic, Kingdom of Portugal, Italian Republic, Kingdom of Norway, and Kingdom of Sweden. The Federal Republic of Germany created it's own economic alliance with the Polish Republic, Royal Baltic Duchy, Finnish Republic, Republic of Czechoslovakia, Austrian Democratic Republic, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Ukraine, and the Russian Tsardom. The N.A.R later created a loose economic alliance with the U.K, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Gran Colombia, Japan, and Korea. The Chinese created a economic sphere in central asia and southeast asia, it's influence was warded off in South Asia. The Republic of Turkestan has made attempts to have better economic independence from China and Russia. Africa has the African Union, but the nations who were former colonies of the U.S didn't join and later joined the N.A.R's economic alliance.
Also Turkey had a war against Greece. The Turkish were aided by the Russians, Germans, and the Persians during the Cold War. Greece was aided by the Italians, British, and North Americans. The Greeks won and took a bunch of territory. Malaysia and Indonesia are started fighting again. Spain fell into civil war against the Carlists and Spain was temporarily was split. The Republicans won and the 3rd Spanish Republic was proclaimed.

China attempted to invade East Turkestan starting the Sino-Turkic War. The reason for their invasion was to protect the Han Chinese population in the region which were getting treated badly over the Chinese aggresion against its neighbors. Chinese forces quickly pushed into the Toquz Oghuz(East Turkestan) , they were able take half of the province before the central Turkic military forces came and pushed them back to the city of Kutlug(Hami). Chinese reinforcements came and pushed them back to the former line. It became a stalement, Turkic forces were supported by the N.A.R, Tsardom of Russia, and India. China was supported by Pakistan, chinese puppets, Iran, and Indonesia. Turkic forces were able to make small gains slowly pushing Chinese forces. Turkic airforce(one of the most advanced airforces in Asia) were important to the Turkic gains. Turkestani forces were able to push Chinese forces out of Toquz Oghuz. It became a stalement. The rest of the war was stalement on the Turkic-Chinese border. Pressure from Russia, India, the N.A.R and most of Europe forced both sides to make peace. The treaty of Kutlug was signned. Han citizens were either compesated for their mistreatment and China loosened it's control over Turkestan business. This humalited the Chinese state and caused multiple protests against the government which were brutally suppressed. This also taught the Chinese Military to modernize better and develop a better airforce. China reformed their army and tested their new and improved army on Burma, they quickly forced Burma to surrender and became a puppet to the Chinese State. India quickly annexed Bangladesh to better secure it's position against China. They also sent support for rebels in Southeast Asia. China also sent aid to African countries and also spread it's influence into Africa. The N.A.R wanted to create a block against Chinese influence in Africa. N.A.R, France, U.K, and Italy were able to help build the infastructure and cleaned corruption of West and South Africa. Some of the help sent were resisted by African countries who didn't like European influence. Some of the most powerful and least corrupt governments in Africa are Algeria, Liberia, Guinea, Benin, Togo, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Morrocco, Mali, West Mali, Burkina, Sierra Leone, and the nations of the South Africa region.
Basically the world got themselves involved in a three way economic cold war with some direct and indirect military conflict.
