Should trump have let turkey invade syria?

I know trump is trying to solve the middle east shit and all that, but should he have moved the 1000 troops from the border and let turkey invade and quite possibly conquer the syrians? All this was made possible by a phone call made from a split second decision. In my perspective (and usa memers all around) we got the oil secured so who cares. Post your opinion to this subject in the comment section below, also you can have a go at me if you wish

This has been your host pan_stan and as always, Thanks for reading!

This topic is complicated and isn't quite Black and White as many on both sides would make you believe. With that being said, the Turkish invasion to create that safe space to relocate 2 million Syrian refugees is probably a great step in "normalization" for the area (as close as the definition of normal it can get in that area). More than anything, I am glad the President is actually taking measures to remove us from all these foreign conflicts abroad that don't involve any of our interests.

1. We are protecting the oil

2. They are mowing through Rojava, an autonomous region of many tribes, mainly Rojava Kurds. They are Libertarian Socialist Anarchist and Turkey sees a state of the PKK who Rojava is inspired from and Turkey has been fighting for 40 years

  • Anyone else see Richard Spencer's tantrum just goes to show anyone who believes in identity politics is an entitled little bitch left or right
  • I’m talking about the left and right spectrum since it changes, the left constantly moves further left the more they succeed as a reaction the right has many faces and many aren’t actually conservative or know what it means. can someone create a spectrum the can replace the left vs. right spectrum that’s can be measured like say the 14 points test and still be accurate enough that most people including parts of the left would accept.
  • With increased demographic change and ever diverging interests of the races in America, I believe the best solution to avoid conflict is for the major racial groups (White, Black, and Hispanic) to have their own ethnostates to represent their people and respective interests. These ethnostates wouldn't necessarily have to be their own sovereign nations, but rather inspired by both the Russian and Swiss systems (the latter especially), would be autonomous regions within the same nation. The federal government would have control over matters of defense, diplomacy and trade, while these ethnostates would have control over their own form of taxation, immigration, education and social programs, etc. as seen fit by the respective people of each of these ethnostates. (Similar in a way to the Swiss canton system) This would not only be desirable, but also possible and very practical with the current demographic concentrations. My proposal would separate this new "American Federation" in 3 to 4 ethnostates. These ethnostates also have the advantage of being near zones of cultural and racial similarity, the Hispanic homeland being next to the rest of latin america, the Black homeland being close to the afro carribean community, and the White homeland being next to Canada. Let me know what you think of this idea and if you notice any flaws or would like to add something.
