I know that the mere idea is anathema to most of the people on this forum site, but upon reading how Christian Communities acted during the ancient/early middle ages, especially Eastern Christians, Orthodox, Monotheist, Miatheist, Nestorian, Chaldean, etc, I begun to wonder if a Socialist Economic system combined with a religious right social policy could function in the 21st century.

Depending on the size, structure of the civilization, culture, and history than maybe for a bit but after a while it would face to many problems do to time. I think what you would be looking for is something closer to egalitarianism. But on my personal opinion it’s a no. I don’t think in Modern large country’s christianity and socialism would work or at least work for a long time.
Perhaps not Socialist in the Marxist context of control of the means of production. I see the combination working much better with the modern Democratic Socialism of social safety net programs in a market economy like what most European countries emulate.
It's been tried a couple times but usually collapses in On itself due to the self destructive nature of socialism there are several Christian calmness communities in the 1890s but they didn't really last long
Pretty sure they were called communes
